I wanted to wire the power side of my Digital 7, Boost Controller, and LM 1 off of a terminal junction that I was going to mount in the trunk, right after the master disconnect switch. That switch will turn those items on/off. Do those items need an on/off switch on the switch panel, or will they be ok being powered every time the master disconnect is turned on?

Do you shut the master disconnect off every time you get out of the car?

good question. If not, then they need a switch, right?

I would definitely make them something you turn on and off when ever you want to run. I would also have the ignition box have a seperate feed than anything else. Also need to consider putting fuses or breakers in too.

How are you planning to shut the car off if you don't have a switch in the car for your ignition box???

lol, its so funny, when you think of these questions, they seem so legitimate...
And then you post them here, and they make you look soo dumb...lol
68bird, I don't know why that didn't click, but you are right...

In my defence I assumed it was going to be controlled elsewhere, and the question was with regards to the power supply to the box. That is my story and I am sticking to it. LOL Got to love tech and the internet. :)
