Soon I'll be plumbing the fuel system on my car. Anyone got any preferences or "stay away from" stories as far as brands of fittings and hose? I was leaning towards a push-loc style. I'd also like to save some weight too.

I have a hodge podge of just about everything on my car. They all work pretty well. The new lightweight braided stuff looks really nice and saves weight. I think Sparky is selling the stuff. Try posting in his section or sending him a PM.
Aeroquip makes nice Push Lok stuff, as does XRP. I've had better luck with them than Earls or Russel, and hear horror stories about Fragola.

and hear horror stories about Fragola.
from a person who obviously messed them up during installation as the pictures proved.

It's not push-lok but I love the new Earl's Pro Lite 350 hose. Soooo easy to work with and very light. I've been buying the Jeg's brand -an fittings lately and they are good quality. They look like they're made by Earl's also, just cheaper.

Id try doing a few of the complicated bends using same diameter brake line.

Thats how I felt when I saw the pics also.
My buddy just did his Pro Mod car with the new crimp together Fragola stuff. It is some bad ass shit!
I have used them all and as long as you dont mix and match hose and fittings then you shouldnt have any problems.
