Thats all I use or they also sell Gun wash which is watered down Laquer thinner .I prefer a good laquer thinner cause the gun wash doesn't clean as well and it streaks .

IF you can find some MEK it is the closest thing there is to a universal solvent, it dissolves everything. It will even dissolve your blue nitrile gloves so be prepared.

Ya MEK is great if you want two headed babies I used it when I worked at a urathane company not to good smelling .Your better off with tried and true laquer thinner . Sorry just my opinion Rick .

I only use MEK as a last resort for cleaning the stuff that don't come off with thinners. proper precautions must be taken, it will dissolve just about anything.
Fortunately 99% of what I shoot is water based so cleanup is simple as a squirt of water.

definitly laquer thinner. use virgin laquer thinner, not recycled. recycled thinner may have small amounts of mettalic left in it from the recycling process, witch will screw you when painting a solid color.

Thinner here to but after a few jobs I take it all apart a set it in a 5 gallon can of carb cleaner for a day or 2 (cuts it all) then rinse off with thinner and it's like new again.
