Don't know if this belongs here or in Supercharged section.Stock L-S1 2000 T/A. I installed Kooks Lontubes with catted Y and GMMG catback.I also installed the Walbro 255.I had a D-1SC installed and Dyno tuned by a reputable shop. The tune was supposed to be what is a "safe" tune. The install included bigger injectors and a step colder plug.Drove 60 miles to the track made 6 passes and the SES light went on somewhere in the last pass.Drove the car home and it seemed ok.Hooked up a code reader and PO303 Misfire Cylinder 3 comes up.I pulled #3 plug and the strap is melted at the tip. What would cause this ? Timing?Lean? or other. In a nitrous car I'd be happy the tip is still there, should I be concerned something got hurt ?

Got a picture you can post? Certeinly seems like a tune-up issue. How much power does this car make? That doesn't sound like much fuel pump for an LS1 car with a D1SC! Tend to think it went lean on ya towards the big end of the track. Unfortunatly, safe on the dyno(short power pull) and safe at the end of 1320' don't always equate.

Made 493 on the chassis dyno.
