Anyone have experience with this handgun? I'm thinking about buying one.

Looks like a H&K USP .40 just hammer-less. Polymer will make it a little lighter, will definitely have a harder punch to it with the .45.
If it fires anything like a H&K USP .40 you are getting a good gun.

my brothers had a backfire and blew apart in my dad's hand. id go with a s&w 1911 .45. that is his new gun and it is so accurate

Yes, it was by far the worst gun I ever shot!! But in its defence it was a rental.. But again so where the others I shot there as well that seemed to have no problems....

What did you not like about it? I dont care for the 1911's. The Glock didnt feel right in my hand like the XD did. The Baby Eagle frame fit right but was a little heavy.
What do you recommend that is similar to these hand guns?

I have a XD in 9MM. The trigger sucks, but the gun is well built. Very long and heavy pull.

H&K USP either full size or compact... by far the best pistol ive ever shot or owned. mine is a USP Compact in .40cal
feel, balance fits me perfect.... but who knows if it will fit for you... try it out.
recoil is very manageable in my opinion.
i was looking into picking up an xd-40 subcompact.. but would like to shoot it some more before i commit to buying it.

I couldn't hold a 10" group at 25 yards.. Usually I can hold it within a few inches once I get comfortable with the gun. The gun fit nice, a little off balance but not too bad, trigger pull could use some help, overall weight was not bad at all.. Overall I hated the gun because of its accuracy. There could have been something wrong with the gun. Not really sure.. But I didn't like the one I shot.. Not to say a new one is like that...

I'll look into the HK stuff. I'm sure they are pricey.

you could also look into the new s&w m+p. For the money those guns are great.
