I have been interested in the blow through type supercharger from Pro-charger. I currently run a 383sbc making about 475hp 455tq. Curios as to where the extra fuel comes in under boost. I run a holley 750HP, do I need to fatten the jets?
Will this create a driveability problem while under low boost or cruising and idleing speeds? Or is this similer to NOS in which I need to add a seperate fuel system

i'll give you some basic stuff-on a boosted setup like the procharger, you need a very good fuel system, and it has to be boost referenced-if at idle you have, lets say 6 lbs fuel press., as boost comes in, the fuel press. will have to rise also, or once the boost matches the fuel pres. fuel will not enter the carb(example-if you have 10 lbs boost, fuel pres. should be 16 lbs.) generally a boost line is run from the carb hat to boost port on reg.-the extra fuel comes from upgrades to the carb-jets, boosters, air bleed work, etc-best left to a company like csu carbs, which powski has proven can run in the 7's

I dont know all the mods done to a BT carb but I do know that most of the extra fuel needed under boost comes from the PVCR's being open up do feed more fuel.
Like forcd02 said you need a boost reference reg with a good pump .
