E85 vs C-16

I have a eclipse gsx gt35r turbo
Right now I am @34psi 601 hp on C-16

Over this summer I was looking for another way to run the car on full boost on the street .. I under stand c-16 is a great gas but i have been hearing so much stuff about the New E85
Colder in take temps = more boost
Also the price seems to keep a lot more money in the wallet

But how does the E85 treat your fuel system.? Will I have to be replacing fuel injectors alot sooner?

Let me know what you guys think..

E85 is a street gas that has at best a 105 octane rating. C16 is a purpose built race fuel that has a 117 motor octane. E85 is primarily ethanol. This will mean huge changes in your tune up. You will need to increase your fuel supply a bunch. I would still be a little leary of detonation. If you go the E85 route, just creep up on it. I wouldn't try your C16 setup at first. Good Luck.

yea i have been racing it on c-16....but the price is crazy for a street driven car.. that why i thought the e85 would be a better rout for the street..

I would say you could run the E85 on the street, but you would have to have such a different tune up to put the C16 in at the track. I would say run StreetBlaze 100 on the street and C16 at the track. The SB100 has a 98 motor octane and will work great on the street. Plus it is unleaded so it won't hurt your wideband. It is around 7 bucks a gallon. Again, good luck !!
