Has anyone used belt drive distributor w/raised cam (+.391) SBC. MSD,Mallory say that their front drive will not work and then there is the Jesel $$$$$.( It uses Mallory parts?) Any suggestions?

Thanks

You could make a new mounting plate for the msd or mallory that is 0.391 taller.

Maybe I could just put a shorter belt on it ?

John, I don't believe the bracket will work without modification or replacement.

Mount it on your engine plate if you have one.

I could sell you just the dist if you like, but the high cam model uses a different belt and bracket to run the dist. I have all the parts if you are looking to buy a good used one.

Comp Cams also has a distributor bracket listed for use with a belt drive and a raised cam SBC, part #6500EDSK.
