Now I know this is pretty close range, but this is quick and zero wasted motion.

Moron can shoot (Miami Vice) but knows nothing of forensics. He left the gloves, they can pull the prints from them on the inside.

I noticed that too. Good thing it's a movie or I'd really have to call him a dumb ass.:smt071

No frigging doubt, if it was real life and he just let a guy sit there and film him with close ups, multiangles and everything else, he would be a real dumb ass.

They got an older guy that does "trick" shooting competions, can't remember his name but I've seen him on The History Channel a couple of times. What this guy can do with a revolver is amazing. Pretty sure it is 22 caliber but he can draw and hit asprin thrown in the air in less than 1/2 a second. Saw him center whole from a half dollar all the way down to a nickel. He even does breakdowns of different shooting techniques and examples of taking on multipile targets with both hands. Will see if I can find a link or some more information on him but it is amazing how fast some guys are with their rigs.
And for what it's worth, when someone "lost" it was sometimes called "died from a case of slow" lol...

Most of those guys that are blinding fast, usually have super high speed custom setups.
Not knocking that at all, but if it doesn't have reliability, and longevity, doesn't mean a whole lot.
I would like to see the bullets they use on those balloons sometimes I wonder if those things might be bird shot. Bird shot can really speed you up when you take 2 balloons with one shot.

I've wondered the same thing when I saw this guy hitting the asprin but then he center holed the loose change and that was definetly a regular round. Now I also saw this guy take 2 ballons with one on either side while coming out a door with pistols in both hands with one shoot each. Don't know how long those setups would last but I would think firing 22s they would stay together pretty good.

Are you thinking of Bob Munden? He used to do a lot of Single-Action trick shooting on "American Shooter"
He's the real deal. Uses .45LC from what I understand.

That dude from the Miami Vice scene is a real hot shot. I heard they shot this scence numerous times and each time the dude dropped the mag and ran the slide back to clear the weapon (muscle memory) after the shoot. He couldn't stop doing it so they just left it in the flick.
