They need to get Howard Stern in on this and they could bill it as the "The 3 Stooges: The Next Generation" or something else as equally lame as that.

One question for all, who would you want as your brother in law? and neither is not an answer.

Was funny, but to answer my own question. Gotta go with the non-drug user here.

Thanks for the video Carl. That is funny stuff.

I have to say that I do like both guys. I watch and listen to O'Reily from time to time and I have been to a Snoop concert before.

Snoop, like most entertainers knows how to play to a crowd. And that is all this looks like he is doing here to me. I also don't agree with Snoop smoking like he does, and don't consider him a role model to kids. But from an entertainer standpoint, Snoop won me over with a short lived show he did on MTV. I can't remember the title but it was a comedy "skit" show. And I never realized how funny the guy was. But like most entertainers, they are just clowns for our amusement. I definately NOT getting my politics from Snoop or any other entertainers.

Thanks for the vid Carl!

I think when Snoop is not clowning around he is very articulate. He has been on Larry King before, and I can tell you right now. Bill O'Reilly does not want Snoop on his show. He will make O'Reilly look like a minor leaguer.

On the question of which would I want as a brother in law? The one that doesn't hide behind a microphone and belittle people. I used to like O'Reilly until I started realizing he doesn't ever let his guest get in any viewpoints.

So I will take the man from the LBC as my brother-in-law.

I like O'Reilly, he lets the guest talk as long as they are answering the questions. What he don't put up with is people that come on an dance around direct questions, he shuts them up pretty quick and gets them back on point. I wish more of our reporters would do that, ask a direct question and demand a direct answer and not the typical "politican soft shoe" answer where they end up on both sides of the issue like they do in most Larry King interviews...

joesmithz28
04-05-2007, 06:21 PM
Agreed Shelton. O'Reilly is one of the few interveiwers left who tries to force an answer that is actually on topic. Same with Sean Hannity. Politics aside, both of these guys try to get answers pertaining to the question, not some rambling nonsense that takes the conversation about the Iranians to Zimbabwe. (just a theoretical example)

The first time I ever watched him he had some guy on remote that he asked a question to, the guy went into a prepared speech totally unrelated to the question, O'Reilly tried several times to get him to answer the question and the guy kept rambling, I was laughing my ass off at this point, you could see he was getting ticked, he finally told them to cut the guys mic off...the guy talked for another minute or two before he realised his mic was off, the look on his face was priceless.

I will choose anyone over a media personality. What bothers you might not bother me.

I know how to seperate entertainment from being a snobbish prick who won't bust a grape with a sledge hammer.

Learn to seperate entertainment from reality. How many cops have Snoop killed? How many women really do act like b-tches? Gang violence? Yeah the Sunni's and Shiites make the Crips and Bloods look like choir boys. Drug use? Have you ever seen any of George Klass post?

At least Snoop had the nuts to visit the troops in Iraq. Has O'Reilly been there? Or just been Oliver North's flunky?

Oh yeah that's right I said it earlier, O'Reilly wouldn't bust a grape with a sledge hammer.

You do know O'Reily is against the death penalty right?

I can seperate Entertainment from Reality with no problem, although know several that seem to have a problem doing it. As far as Snoop going to Iraq from what I have read even Hitler had some redeeming qualities.
Not sure what O'Reilly being against the death penalty has to do with this, I'm for it but have several members of my family that are totally opposed to it and I wouldn't have it as being a requirement to be a friend.

When someone advocates something, it cant be far from their true opinion.
I guess if he sang about killing Marines, it would be ok too?
Lets see, I think Hillary visited the troops, that makes her ok. At least O'reilly tries
to do good things like exposing sanctuary cities of illegals and in his latest finding, an illegal alien who killed people while drunk driving.

You keep your thug who advocates the downward spiral of society, I take a person who gets it right once in a while, even though I dont agree with him on all things.

As far as George, we know he is full of it, but entertaining, after all "Aint nothing but a G thing."

O.C White
04-06-2007, 01:15 PM
Obviously Snoop has no problem with Marines since he has never sung a song about killing them.

At least she(Hillary) did visit the troops, and also Pelosi, O'Reilly can't say the same can he? Maybe he lacks something they have....................guts.

So let me get this right because this is comical. Rap music is going to be the downfall of sudden? Man you sound like Bill O'Reilly saying something that stupid, rap music the downfall of society.

So I guess the song "Killing For Jesus" sits better with you?

nos351
04-06-2007, 01:45 PM
Dodging the questions again as usual. If you rapper idol sang about killing Marines it would be okay?

That rap crap is great for society. Extreme sarcasism on.

O.C White
04-06-2007, 01:56 PM
Until he sings about killing Marines it doesn't bother me. How is something going to bother me if it hasn't happened yet?

Try another approach.

But to answer your "what if" question, if Snoop or any singer sang about killing Marines I would say bring it on. I wouldn't rely on someone on the internet fighting or leading a cause for me.

I can speak for myself.

Since it seems you haven't noticed "if" questions really irritate me.

Gunny. Sorry, I usually share your viewpoints, but you might be wrong on this one. O'reilley has visited the troops over there. I'm 90% sure he did. I used to think that BO didn't let his guests speak, but the above posts are correct. He really only interupts when people dance around an answer.

Also, I think Snoop is a pompass ass as well. I read somewhere that during the filming of Old School, Snoop locked himself up in the motor home for way more than several hours and wouldn't come out for filming his scene for some reason. One of the actors had to "entertain" the people there for the scene for hours while Snoop "got in the mood" to go to work.

I used to respect O'Reilly myself until he started selling out about the WMD's and then when the Pennsylvania Senator came up with that proof he jumped back on the bandwagon.

If visiting the troops in Iraq is the qualification for being gut-less or not, then there are millions of them. 99.9% of the country is gutless then. Not relavent to the message here.

Snoop sends out a negative message in his songs. I dont like that and that is my right to say so. Its also your right to listen, buy, and approve of his message. Same for O'reilly.

I think it time to go pick on George for awhile.:smt115

Wait a minute Carl, I have to call BS here. You did what you said you would and I tip my hat to that, but you add on here makes me curious. Having never been in combat and had a "celebrity" come visit me to say thanks, and only having seen the usual Bob Hope and other type stuff when celebrities do go, Are you saying that celebrities go where it is not peaceful? I just figured they only go to "secure" areas to visit the troops. Am I wrong in this?

Guys lighten up a little bit...Snoop (in my opinon) is a punk who would make an album about killing Marines or anybody else if he thought he could make a decent return on it...show me where he has done anything to really benefit anybody other than himself....and if any of us had gotten busted with the same stuff he has we would be hanging out in jail, he's not because he famous...and no I do not agree with BO all the time, most of the time but not all the time and he has done major work on getting Jessicas Law passed in several states.

Heres a link to the list of Charitys that Bill supports, they include Families of Military Casulities and Ride to the Wall (Veterans Outreach Program)....

I am guessing they get pretty good money from Calvin.
