If the American public can close their eyes whe they vote, he may have a chance. Only part being, it's hard to vote without seeing who you vote for or punch the proper ballot.

I would imagine the Clinton campaign wont say it publicly but his ability to all most match their funding raising has them a little concerned. If he is fortunate enough to get the Dem nomination I hope he doesnt pick her as a VP. He is still a liberal and would have that to contend with also on a national level. As far as race, there will be alot of blacks vote for him just because he is black and a lot of whites not vote for him because he is black. This is shaping up to be one of the most contested Presidential elections on both side Repub and Dems.

He's both!!! His Father was Black and his Mother White so really race shouldn't be an issue, his politics on the other hand should be the real issue.

What is truly interesting about his fundraising is where the money came from, the people not the special interest. It's quite impressive for a new comer, but that just show how hungry the American public is for a new type of candidate, someone new not already swallowed up by the beltway!!!
