Have you ever rented any of the full auto stuff over at target?? I was up there today and am planning on heading back soon to try one out. I've never shot full auto and was just curious what you thought, or if you have even done it.

I have not.. I have a membership at Impact (Utah) and have been talking to the guy there and he said he will help me out for my first time.. They have maybe 10-12 full automatics there.. I will do it this week for sure.. I went today but just shot a 9mm and a 45 yesterday..

You'll be sportin' some serious wood, believe me. It took me a few years to con my brother into taking out his MG-42. I went out and bought $130 worth of 8MM Mauser (IT PACKS A PUNCH), it lasted a few bursts. At about 25 rounds a second, thats about 12 seconds for the 300 rounds and it's gone. I was prone and the weapon had a spade bipod, when I was done it had pushed me back about 2' in the dirt. The target was a small metal barrel about 300 yards out and it had never moved, dirt was flying everywhere. I figured I missed it completly. But I didn't, the barrel was riddled with holes and the ground behind it looked like someone just ran a roto-tiller through there. I was pumped.
Needless to say I was out looking for more ammo that afternoon.

I sure will.. They have a few that take a 9 mm round. I seen a few guys (kids) shooting one last week there.. Pretty awesome stuff for sure...
