or is it Thou Shall Not Commit Murder? I was watching The History Channel and only was able to catch bits and pieces but they had a show about The 10 Commandments (they were at least part of the show) and how they have changed (to some degree, by translation) and been looked at over the centuries. One of the interesting parts that I was able to catch was that when it was translated into English (not sure when that was) the word became "kill" but the original word is the word for "murder". Now to me this is a major difference and to me at least makes more sense.
Now I am not a Biblical Scholar by any means but I was hoping some of you who are more knowledgable than myself could expand upon this...

In Arabic its still murder... But Chris U and RRAAYY will argue that there are no differences between any of the bibles... You can't fix stupid...

Translation is when you take something word for word and change languages.. The bible has been modified from the original... Everyone language is guilty of it.. But again Chris U and RRRAAAYYY will set everyone straight on this and let us know what God tells them..

Thou Shalt Not Murder.
The King James Bible and all other versions are not exact translations. I do not know why and I guess that no ne else does either but word spellings and pronunciations of Proper names, were changed to what we now all use. Peter was Kefa. Jesus was Yeshua (Or many other spellings but same pronunciation). That is only two examples, many more names were changed.
Words that are changed in their translations are no longer translations, but are instead transliterations. Kill = Murder is only one. Changing the names of people to sound more English in my opinion was not right.
It does seem that the name of Jesus is the same though in meaning and in intent of worship in any language. In Spanish or Mexican they say Jesuschristo. In Hebrew it is Yeshua. The same power is there it seems no matter how each language speaks his name.

Yeshua is Chaldean.. Mixture of Hebrew and Egyptian.. The very language the original bible was written in.. It sounds nothing like its spelled... But what do I know.. I will need Mark Walters to translate it for me... Then call me a dumb ass...

The Bible, old and new testaments, the Koran it's all BULL SHIT, written by the so called religious to keep people in line. Religion is the biggest crutch on society and one of the reasons why the people of Middle East suffer in poverty; while it sits on the richest of all the worlds’ commodities, OIL!!!
