thats's right. gunny. remember i'm an independent not a democrat.
but, i also share "some" conservative beliefs that you share.
if you look on the trash or be trashed section, i started a thread titled "happy national atheist day". i am a believer.
i'm against homosexuality, abortions, illegal immigration, i'm pro-family, pro-hunting, pro responsible gun ownership (would explain if asked) and believe it or not, though i've been against the war in iraq from the get go, i do not believe in no time tables for troop withdraw.
but that just about where i draw the line on my conservative values.
and by the way, thanks for the compliments on my guns! :o

You're welcome very nice hardware.
I just do not like how gays try to shove their agenda down everyone throat(not literally but you get tge point), abortions no comment, illegals agree 100%, definitely rpo-family pro-adoption of American kids, at least you called it what it is hunting, it's not a sport, definitely agree on the responsible gun ownership, heck any military man in his right mind is against war, so I agree there, but that's as far as it would go if you were in my shoes, you become what you are trained to do.
Theres hope for the world. :-D

Yes, to both.......although I have shot mostly preloaded ammo in the .408. I am working on the two 300 magnums right now. I am sure the .30-.378 will do a mile easy once I get it figured out. The .300 is good for 12-1400 yards on a decent day.
The .308 averages .25 groups at 100 yards , averages, not every now and then......it shoots into the .1's very often. It does this with factory Federal Match so I do not even bother to reload it.
I think once I get the .30-.378 Weatherby figured out I will have a 50% hit ratio on man size targets at 2,000 yards. 80%+ at 1000.

Here are some pictures of a few of mine. I figure if you have seen one AK, MAK90, M4 AR, .22, shotgun, etc, you have seen them all. So I didn't bother with pictures of them.
Case 1 are mainly the deerslayers (left to right):
Remington 700ADL, 1980 model, .270, not a scratch on it.
Ruger 77MKII, .300SAUM
Winchester model 70, 1976 model, .22/250, extremely clean
Browning A-bolt II Medallion, .30/06, BOSS
Remington 721, 1951 model, .300 H&H mag
Winchester model 70 Featherweight, .300WSM
Weatherby Vangaurd, .300WBY
To the right of the case, Vangaurd in .270WBY
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/jinx44/100_0530.jpg
Case 2 are more varmint/target orriented:
Savage Model 12 F-Class, 6.5/284
Ruger VT, .204
Ruger VT, 6PPC
Browning A-bolt target, .308, heavy barrel, BOSS
Savage 116, 7 Rem Mag
CZ 527 Varmint, .223
Ruger 77/22, 17 Mach 2
Savage 93R17BTVS, .17HMR
Savage 93R17, .17HMR
And the pink Crickett is my daughters in a few years
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/jinx44/100_0534.jpg
Here is another look at that F-class. 30" barrel, full 1" diameter. This thing shoots excellent:
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/jinx44/100_0537.jpg
My lightweight AR. Weighs right a 4lbs. Bushmaster Carbon 15 that I put a CAR4 stock and pencil barrel on to cut the weight down. Rifle on the bench below it is a Browning A-bolt stalker in .223WSSM:
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/jinx44/100_0527.jpg
Target/Varmint AR with 24" fluted barrel, Magpull stock, RRA 2 stage trigger, etc:

Before he sold it, I talked him into letting me do a roadtest with that puppy. I bought $140 worth of 8 MM Mauser (300 rounds), that will lasts just over 11 seconds with the trigger back. It was quite exhilerating!:D
You guys defineatly have some nice fire power. I'm not that much into that "custom" kind of guns, but I rather collect alot of the older all original stuff. With about 150 pieces in the collection, I have alot of Winchester model 12's about 40 in all, with all different types of ribs, in 12, 16, 20, & 28 ga. Some 2 bbl factory sets, quite a few engraved with patterns from grade 1-C through grade 5 with the gold birds on the recievers. Many are still new in the original boxes with all the hang tags. Alot of trap and skeet guns in all guages, as I did alot of trap and skeet shooting. About 8-9 mod 42's, all with ribs on them, some engraved. A few doubles in model 21's, 23's, and 24. Quite a few O/U's model 101's in 12, 20, 28, & 410's including a few pigeon grades. A large collection of winchester 22's from model 1890's, 1906's, 52 target, a dozen mod 61's and 62's, a few 63 auto's. A few pre-64 high powered rifles in 225 varmit, 270, 308, 30-06, 300 win mag, & 338. A few lever mod 94's in 32 Win Spl. (3)30-30's, 9422, and 9422 Mag
A large Browning collection in O/U Belgium Superposed models in 12, 20, and 410. Browning 22-T-bolt deluxe, Browning belgium 22 take down rifle's in grade I's and gr II's with the gold squirrels and rabbit's some new in the box.
A bunch of Remingtons, 1100's in all guages and chokes from Skeet grades to field. 1187's, 870's in skeet, trap, and field grades in all guages. A few 22 rifles, maybe 6-7, alot from the 50's and 60's. Some Marlin lever 22's older ones. Alot of older misc 22's
On the hand guns, got rid of all my Glocks, years ago I never really liked them, although now I would'nt mind having a few of them back, especially the ones with the lasers. Quite a collection of Colts, many pre 70 45 cals. auto's the comercial ones with the C- prefix. A couple new in the boxes, a few National Match "gold cups" one in 38 super that's a Nat Match, from the factory in nickel from 1939 that looks unfired. A few 70 series too. A bunch of pythons in different bbl lenghts, a few diamondbacks in 22 & 38. Some Woodsmans in second & third gen. and some match target's too. Few Colt rifles, 22's & 30-06. A few AR's. Quite a few S&W's, alot of the most popular models in 22, the 17's, 34's, & 51's. Big cals, some 19's, 66's, 27's, 586's & 686's, a few 29's & 629's. Just got a 5" 41 mag that looks unfired, I think it's a 57? Don't remember. Some 659's, 6906's, a few snubs, and airwieght, a few engraved ones. Browning hi-powers, a reneisance set that's engraved, 22 medallians.
It just gets hard to remember all the stuff that's in safes. There's alot of odd things that I dont even see when I go to a gun show. Sold off alot of my military stuff like the Gallils, and H&K's. Alot of it is that old collectable stuff, and there's nothing that's less than an honest 95%. Most of this stuff was bought 10-20 years ago, or even longer than that. Alot of it came from my father in the 60's and 70's. This is why I'd have a hard time posting pics of my guns. But, I DO enjoy looking at pics of guns. Seems like the gun shows are getting boring lately, same ol' junk on the same ol' tables, and nothing changes but the prices going up. Pretty sad. After having an FFL for quite a few years back in the 80's into the 90's, I was able to do alot of trading to aquire all the things that I really want to keep. Back then, I did a gun show almost every weekend and aquired alot of stuff. Some of it I kept, and some of it I traded off. Looking at it now, I wish I would've not sold anything, but I'm happy with what I kept.

Yup funny and so sad. A proff. decided to pose with the same water gun on his facebook page. The school started an investigation, had campus pigs knocking at his door. It is a First Saamco G27. I think I might have a spare on in my safe if you are local or willing to cover shipping expenses. I have jumped on the bandwagon... the Magpul bandwagon that is. I tried out a full MIAD kit on my new AR and I love it. The G27 is extremely comfortable but I am giving a slight edge to the MIAD because I like the physical texture of it slightly better. Purely subjective. Of course, the G27 is about 50% the price of the full MIAD.

After nearly a year of waiting on MD arms to my drums I had ordered from Mike showed up Wednesday and after a lil over 500 rounds I can say the MD20 runs pretty dang good.
Here are some crappy pictures that I just took, I will try to take some better ones later if you want a more detailed picture of anything let me know and I will do what I can.
Here is one with the factory 5rd mag to give a scale size of how small these drums actually are. They are still bulky but not as big as you would expect a 20 round drum for a 12ga to be.

Sorry for the glare from the ceiling fan, I got all of mine with a smoked cover just because I want to be able to see in this thing and I just did not want a clear one.
http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb256/nitrous_mike/DSCN1563.jpg
This is a picture of the main body which IMO is almost over built but hey I aint gonna complain bout it none at all.

I just purchased this gun a few weeks ago but things have been crazy and I haven't gotten to shoot it yet. Hubby took it one day and said he liked it.
I have an XD 9 that I love but I wanted something with stopping power. I shot a friend's S & W 45 and it was nice so I decided to get a 40.
How do you like it?

The Bushnell 3200 Elite 10x40mm.
I debated between that, and something a little more spendy, but A couple guys I shoot with convinced me that this is really the best bargain for what we're doing, and to get something significantly "better" I'd need to spend a pretty good chunk of change.

One more question...What barrel did you use? I notice it doesnt have the 11 Degree "target crown" that serves no purpose..

It's a takeoff OEM Savage 10FP 24-inch barrel. It seems to shoot well enough, and I got it for pretty cheap. Once I shoot the snot out of it, I'll swap over to something aftermarket. Northlander has the exact barrel I'd custom order (Shilen 26-inch, small shank, straight taper) ready to shoot, in stock for $280 but I just cant justify that right now.

223: Started life as a plain jane VSSF, but has had the barrel cut down to 17.5", put on an LTR stock, bedded...and a Jewell trigger. Scope is a Bushnell Elite 4200 4-16x42.

Sig GSR: Almost just like factory. Has a 45 acp barrel, 400 Cor-Bon barrel, 22 lr conversion, TLR-1 light, and Crimson Trace grips. I absolutely love this gun!

Thanks a bunch!
The 6 PPC is a 200 yd bench gun, and I've never pushed it further (just didn't have a need to)
The 223 isn't so great past 300 yds with that whacked barrel, so that's about it (it was built for spotlighting at night and being quick to handle)
The .308 will hit a 9" steel plate at 900 yds, but comes in at one helluva angle.
The 338, however, has killed a 'yote at 1386 yds. I have hit a 24"x24" steel at 1500 yds but the conditions were less than ideal...so I was happy just to hit it, but haven't got to shoot past that yet.
And the 45-70 hit a 24" plate at 500...I'm still learning how to use those sights, so it probably shoots a lot better than I can make it.

Wow. Where do you live that you have that much of a area to shoot. The longest that i have shot is 500 yards. Out here in Alabama it dont get any longer than that.

I need to refinish it this winter, when the track closes and I get time, just no sure what I'm going to do it in.

Have you shot it?I have one that's a single barrel, afraid to shoot it.Doesn't look like it is built very well to me.What REALLY scares me is the chamber is long enough to accept a 454 Casull cartridge!!

Shoot it quite often acutally, Only .410 shells so far, less recoil than my .45, loud as hell. The nicest thing bout it is the fact that it doesn't weigh much, and fits comfortably in my front pocket.

The only gun i have in my camping/hiking bad is the Taurus Judge, it will shoot 410 gauge shells and 45 long colt ammo. I have one and sometimes i will lend it out to close friends if they are going hiking or checking trail cameras, a 410 shell will mess a snake up quick. I have the Ultra Lite Version with 3 inch chamber and a 3 or 4 inch barrel, trust me if you camping/hiking/or just in the woods it is a good gun to have.

Cool collection,,specs???
Is the Bersa a 380 Thunder CC ?
I have one and carried it around Savannah this past weekend, in a small inside the pants belt holster. I am not a big guy so I was concerned that you could see the gun, I didn't tuck in my shirt and my wife didn't even know I was carrying it.

Ive been pondering on a CC piece. The Bersa has been one contender. I have concealed the 1911, but it's just a hare big, even for me.

The only problem is that it is a 380,,ammo to hard to find and expensive.
I'm going to upgrade to a Kel-Tec 9mm.
