A friend had a 350 turbo with a coan transbrake, long story short, they have busted two foward drums (the one with the input shaft) I think its the foward, well anyway the big ring that holds the select plate and clutches in is what has broken. He used the directions from coan, installed there springs, removed all steel balls and drilled the hole in the drum, any ideas?? its a 79 z28 3100 lbs. and runs 7.40 in the eight mile. he has went to a glide, and said I can have the 350 if I can figure it out I might put it in my chevyII, it only runs 7.90s in the 8th. any ideas???
