What a bunch of pussie's !!!! there is only one guy on that video that had a clue. you could tell all the rest had never fired a gun before just by they're shooting stance or lack of.

Two guys were actually holding a rifle properly, neither were white, LOL. The one that hung on did just by luck and you could tell he was in shock still. Thing must kick like a mule.

When we fired the Karl G it had a kick that was more like a percussion, and it went through your whole body. They used to have a guy leaning against your back to keep you from blowing over. I tried taking pictures from 30 -40 yards away and they were all out of focus from camera shake.

Kick like a mule is an understatement!

I just ran the free recoil ft-lbs calcuation of that max 750 grain 577 T-Rex load verses a max 308 Win 168 grain load, the same rifle weight.

577 T REX = 184 ft-lbs
308 Win = 9.6 ft-lbs

A few years back loaded up some 500 grain 460 Weatherby rounds for guy that was going on a big game safari hunt. I took it to the range to chronograph the loads and shot it from the shoulder 3 times in a row. I was done for the day, that load had about 83 ft-lbs of free recoil energy.
