I read that about a week ago.. He has a lot of good points but thought his idea on gripping the gun as hard as possible was kinda odd.. He does go into grip on the gun being a cause of jammed rounds.. Which makes sense and the way you explained it to me Gunny... Also the stance stuff is pretty good to read...

He calls it a pyramid stance which is proper, but I like to say it's a combination of weaver and isoceles stance.
Some people Monty prefer a death grip, I prefer a firm grip. I think my shot groups tell me I am doing alright, and so were your's.

I just found it odd because my Sig 229 and also the A410 S&W are pretty far off when I grip them harder.. I actually need a looser grip to hit my mark and group... I guess it goes back to what you were saying on a bigger grip it may seem looser but your hand has more surface area to grab on to which is probably the same amount of grip that I get on my single stack magazine guns... But nonetheless it was a very good read...

Pretty good read, just told me a couple of things that I think will help fix some of my grouping issues...

Hey Carl, I just came back from Impact Guns and shot 50 rounds using the grip to death method.. I honestly did not notice a difference between this and keeping a firm grip.. All I noticed was my hands were getting tired after every few shots and needed to relax them.
