Just got a joe van overbeek fiberglass rear wing for my 2002 Camaro.He sent me the filler panel that attaches to the orignal decklid also .I wanted to know what was the best way to attach the filler panel to decklid.Should i use a strong epoxy if so what kind?Also what should i make the frame out of for the wing to bolt .Like 3/8 chrome moly like .049 wall.Thanks for any help

go to any paint supply and tell them what you are bonding together(carbon/glass/smc)I use 3M panel bonding adhesive.You don't need any more support than the wing struts.Joe's stuff is very stout.

Really ok i'll just mount the strut rods to the wing with the supplied hardware .Do you sell a strut rod kit?I was looking at a Rick Jones strut kit with the sill plate supports

I use McAmis' struts.They have heims on both ends of the struts.Allows for misalignment between the top and bottom plates and easier to mount.I just make the spill supports out of 1/4 tube flattened at the end with a hole to fasten to spill and bent to connect to the outside strut at the bottom,like this http://www2.propichosting.com/Images/450019427/9.JPG
