View Full Version : sbc in fox chassis

so where would i mount a sbc into a fox chassis? i hear as low and far back as possible....ok but what do i center it off? would i just take the crank center and center that between the frame rails? and try tomake it as straight as possible back to the rear so i don't have funky angles in te drive shaft? its going to have motor plates in there so i can move it just about any angle.

Skinny Kid sells Mustang specific sbc motor and mid plate kits.Make sure you buy the offset kits.

exactly what i was looking for. sucks though cause i already bought motor/mid plates. oh well.

question, why he offset kit?

I believe the stock trans tunnel is offset, therefore the offset plate.
The real question is why someone one would spend all that time to put in an inferior engine! :-) LOL
