wheelie bars(how long)

how long would you make the wheelie bars ?i have a tube chassie 72 vega with around 1200hp and weigh's 2680 with driver...the one's i have now are somewhere around 55 to 60 inches.they worked good with 850 hp but hittin them with 1200 i think it might hit too hard.

Ladder Bar or 4 Link? Tire size? Weight? Wheelbase?

ladder bar,33x10.5w tire,2680 pounds with driver,102 wheel base i think...will have to check

Allowable room is a big factor- the longer the bars, the closer the upper two are to the rear valence. Can you cut yours for more clearance? You don't need anything longer than 60", those can work fine if they're the right od/thickness. Of course longer looks better to many, the bars on the avatar were 72" and took a pretty good whack at the hit, 1.03 avg 60 foot, probably 6" longer than they needed to be.
