Whats the best yoke for high horse power for a glide using a roller tail housing, the spicers are twisting on me?

Which tailhousing are you running? If it s a dedenbear it uses a nitrided slightly undersize yoke 1.497-1.498 od. Some others use a standard od yoke (1.500) , the spicer is a forging, you may want to try a billet yoke mark williams and strange make them in standard diameter and undersize , both are nitrided for the roller bearing.

I just got a Strange billet nitrided yoke to go with my BTE roller tail. Nice piece. It measured 1.498" o.d. Costs about $220.
BTW, bad ass 10.5 Nova!!

Are you sure you need an undersize yoke for the BTE tailhousing? I know for sure that the dedenbear tail takes a smaller od nitrided yoke but I have seen some bte and JW tailhousings that would accept the 1.500 yoke with no problems. I don't think you would want too loose a fit with a needle bearing. Check with the manufacturer and make certain you have the correct diameter yoke. Wouldn't want to see you have any problems.

Thanks for double checking me Hutch. God knows I need all the help I can get to keep my junk together!
The BTE instructions said for the yoke to be between 1.495-2.000 if I'm not mistaken. The yoke measured 1.498"-1.499" using a digital caliper. I also slid the yoke in the tail before I installed the tail and it fit nicely, not sloppy and not tight or anything.
