Hello all,
I'm just wondering if I really need C16. It is what was used on the dyno. It is a 428 Cobra Jet with 15:1 compression and I will be running it to about 7200.

If it is a naturally aspirated only application, you could run C14 if you like. If you ever plan to spray it, I would stay with the C16. Hope this helps.

C14 and C14+ have the same burn speed and specific gravity. The C14 is a 114 motor octane and the C14+ is a 117 motor octane. It has an extra gram of lead per gallon. It is for Comp Eliminator type engines. High compression and high rpm.
Thanks,
Jason

Thanks again, what are the prices of those two for a 54 gallon drum?

I like c14 up to 15.1 and c14+ from 15.1-16.1, however, you mentioned c14+ @ 117 octane, but the site says one more point in compression @115. Which is it? I know c19 is 116, and we run that for over 16.1, again all N/A.
