I am looking at AJE and PA racing stuff for my 85 camaro. what are the ups and downs of both. These are the parts I am looking at.

Chrome moly k member with no mtr mounts
Chrome moly Adj A-arms
manual Rack steering
Coil over kit to eliminate stock springs

Also is there any one who makes these parts? Thanks Doug

I have a PA k-member,arms,rack,and coil over kit on my car. I was very happy with all the parts except the coil over kit. The way it is designed all of the weight in the front of the car is supported by the strut mount which in my opinion wasn't desinged for this kind of load. Spohn makes what in my opinion is a much nicer coil over kit but it is quite a bit more money. Go to www.spohn.net to check it out. Here is a pic of mine.

I am going to brace the strut towers with the cage and put a reinforment on the under side. I agree not designed to hold the weight, even more so when the car comes back down off the bumper!!! BTW Nice Pic looks good !!!!

You might want to check on www.thirdgen.org

I'm leaning towards profab myself, spohn is suppose to be coming out with one for a rack also.

I guess everyone has their own opinion but I bought mine from AJE. Chrome moly stuff:K-member,lower control arms, upper springs and shocks, etc.
Good fit and seem to be plenty strong.
NOT cheap but,I'm satisfied with what I got! Leon

Alright....Here's an answer for you. I have seen them all and none of them will bolt in with out some sort of mods . So just flip a coin. Good Luck...

Beebe's are for toy gun's ???????????

Well, that may be true to some extent but the only thing I had to do to install AJE's complete suspension package was to secure the steering shaft bottom to the rack and pinion. Leon

Thanks Jim, Looks like I am going with the PA Racing stuff if it's all the same the AJE is little pricey and I san see other places I can put that money.

For what it's worth, I know someone who had a bad experience with PA's stuff. He had a cracked weld on his k-member. Now he is the only one that I've ever heard of having problems, so take that one for what it's worth.

BMR also makes a pretty nice piece but like all the rest of them, they are pretty expensive.

well I think the pa racing stuff is junk. Nothing fit right!!!!! We used an aje on afriends car and it worked fine..... On my pa racing the motor mount bolts did not line up right, my control arms didnt fit, the body mounts did nto lone up right, ok ill stop there/! if you want to look at osme feedback on the pa racing stuff go to www.thirdgen.org and do a search. you will find that 95% are not happy...

I run a BMR but I would recommend going to Filipowski since he'll make sure everything is perfect and you can't put a price on things like that.

No I stayed with the stock style strut..but I bet I'll kick my self down the road for it!!!

Stantuff makes a double adjustable stock style front coil over that's what I'll be using...

I will have pics of it in the car in the next week or so to come
