Do anybody know what ga. the 3/4 steel tubing has to be for the gussets?:cool:

For the a-pillar and dash bar gussets? its 1"x .058 and a minimum of 4" long, or 3/4"x .049 depending on the cert it is. Hope that helps

if it's 25.4 or 25.5 3/4 .083 mild may be used

Our tech guy says, yes. If it is not welded all the way around it has to have a gusset to make up for it. He only requires one gusset per affected joint, where as on a 25.X cert there has to be 2 per affected joint.
Now, that may vary from one tech guy to another.
