Any thoughts or experience on this guys? I've been entertaining the idea. I have experience w/ AODs on power-adder cars but not on a 360"N/A car. The lock-up conerter catches my attention! Thanks for the input!

I run an aod in my car from "lentech automatics". I love it. 500hp n/a & still get 17 mpg on the street. I also hit the motor w/300 shot n2o regularly & leave off the brake @ 5000rpm. Never had any problems in 4 yrs.

The Aod will hold up and I have talked to Len quite a bit about the aod in a hot street type car. He says that it would work very well. I however am more sckeptical Though this would never happen I would like to see Len put a pro flite or a good glide in his maverick. I think the best to date for him is 9.18@147 or so and his car would almost fit in to Hot Street class. I wonder if it would pick up ET or if he has the trans in his car working that good?

gained 3 m.p.h. with my 347 over a c4 cause of lock up and dropped 600 r.p.m. at big end...
using it now on my n/a windsor in the 9.90 class this year

The design of the trans makes it very efficient and the lockup deal is very cool. Im really suprised that there is not more of them in these types of classes.
