th400 rebuild for 600hp&tq what is needed?

hi, nice site i have been lurking for a while. Besides a 34 element sprag and a good shift kit what does a th400 need for a 600hp engine ? what type of friction would be best ? thanks, dave

Just a good no corners cut rebuild with borg/warner (stock) paper type clutchs will be just fine. There is no need for anything fancy. Be sure that the sprag drums race is in good condition & measures at least 3.158 dia.
