NOS fuel pressure

The suggested setting for the 225 horse shot on my big shot plate runs great at 4 lbs of fuel pressure. Is it ok to run that low or do I need to mess with the jetting. Any suggestions? :?

4 lbs :shock: that seems a little low to me

I would not go lower then 6 pounds

up the jet size don't lower the fuel presure

that is what worked the safest for us

I have to agree with matt, think of what is happening at the spray bars on the plate when lowering the fuel pressure. You can use a smaller fuel jet with 6 pounds of fuel pressure if you what to get the air fuel ratio back to where it is with the 4 psi. Read monte's spark plug reading page there is some good info there on tuning with fuel and timing.

probably better to go down on the jet as they are saying but i run mine at 5lbs and it runs great too.
