With the rain date ending up to be the final All Out Performance help makes this season final the most looked forward to ¼ mile race of the season. 4 cars in the last race ranged from 8.10 to 8.01. Big mph from the blower cars showed some real muscle. Not to be scared off the nitrous smallblock’s put up stout 660’s to keep the playing field even. Records were set, feelings were hurt.
Questions need to be answered. Who will be the first to crack the 7 second barrier on 275’s? Who will take home the championship? Who else thinks they have what it takes to run on the 275 radial tires?
Make sure you bring out your car or watch come support a class that supports our sponsors and racers alike. It’s only 35 bucks to enter in a race where anyone can win.

Rich better check with Atco...just saw they cancelled the Quick 8 and 8.50/10/12 index's on the 15th. the Quick 8 and 8.50 are done for the year, the 10.0/12.0 will be ran on november 21st. no mention about your class. this is from Atco's site....:rolleyes:

SCHEDULE UPDATE FOR QUICK 8 & HEADS UP 8.5 INDEX:
Do to the current contractual agreement THE FALL FINALE rain out from yesterday November 1, 2009, will be moved to the Sunday November 15, 2009.
The Johnson’s Powder Coating HEADS UP 10.5 Quick 8 along with the Kasper’s Korner HEADS UP 8.5 INDEX will be cancelled and not contested. The current Points standing is set as is.
SCHEDULE UPDATE FOR HEADS UP 10.0 & 12.0 INDEX:
For HEADS UP 10.0 & 12.0 INDEX, the New re-schedule date is set for Saturday November 21, 2009. Also on Saturday the 21st. Open Test & Tune to all vehicles.

We are beginning to work on our schedule for the 2010 season at this time we are considering some different event formats to try and promote more spectator friendly entertainment. We intend to try and develop some of our faster classes such as Quick 8 Outlaw Cars, Index Classes, Drag Radial, Top Sportsman and Top Dragster into once a month specialty events. We are also going to develop specialty nights on Thursday for Motorcycles and Import cars. In our early planning we intend to use pro mod cars and nostalgia funny cars to be named events. We have also had contact to bring back the all Harley drags. An early season Swap meet is also in the process.
In closing we want to make the 2010 season a great one….
After all it will be the 50th Anniversary of Atco Raceway.
