slowly build up the area with touch up paint till the chipped area is the same thickness as the original paint then lightly wet sand the area and buff it out.

Blown 54 rock chips are always a bitch period. Alot depends on what kind of paint is on the car, base coat/clear coat, one stage with clear, one stage no clear with hardner. It all goes back to how picky you R. A small paint brush with with the color you choose will do wonders for the naked eye!!!. If its a show car, trailer queen, sand them tape her off prime, sand, paint, clear, blend everything in,clear(if needed)sand and rub. If she is a fast race car a small brush will do wonders at 140 mph. thanks KEITH

thanks Keith i am pickey and i know there is several ways to do the job. Most the stuff i do anymore is base coat clear coat.and i like to make it so it looks like it never happened.looks like i will stick with the prime paint clear and rub deal.

this method does work, just be real careful when wetsanding so that you dont burn through the area around the chips. if your picky, you should probably just do a repaint
