What Brand to BUY!!!!!

Looking to buy a blower ,8-71 for a 468 to run on the street and the strip. More on the street. Which one to use. Hampton,BDS,TBS, Supercharger USA?
What are the things to look for in each?
Things to compare? Add any info that can help a first time buyer to make his money count the first time. Any info about blowers well help.

Yes, Billy's correct. But since you don't say WHERE you are, try Weiand 8-71, or BSD. Those are some of the bigger companies. Just depends on your DIRECT needs since you were not very informative:cool:

I have run a Weind 8-71 on the street and strip for 4 years on a 468. 5.9% overdrive gives 10lbs boost. 3800 lbs car runs 9.8s all day pull it off the trailer and cruise with no changes or problems.

Check with BDS (Blower Drive Service) Dyer Blower Service , it may be Dyer Machine, Not for sure of the name of company. (Gary Dyer) for their prices on building you one or seelling one already built. If you do buy a used one it will likely not be set up for your needs and will likley need to be rebuilt.

I live in Arkansas and I have heard the Weiand 8-71 is not very good. The motor is going in a 72 Chevy truck long bed. When you call each one tell you somthing differnt. How do you know witch one has the better set up? What are the things to look at or look for?
