The thing that I can't believe is.
If you look at the begining of the video it shows a 12.3 on the front window.
I guess if you are sideways at 90mph it will tumble that many times.
It shows me how good the drivers there are in 10.5 - prostock -ez street. That they know when to let off and when to hold it down. So that this doesn't happen.
That guy is very lucky!!!!!!

Or seat belts apparently.
If that were me I'd have jumped to my feet and yelled "TA DA" and acted like I meant to do that.

I guess my impression of this was different that that of everyone else.
What I saw was this would be a good learning vid for all who think that a 12 second car can not get dangerous. It does not matter if driver messed up or if car messed up. Bottom line is even a 12 second car can kill you when everything goes wrong.
12 second car.
Required a helmet, a seat belt and that is about all except for normal car safetly stuff like driveshaft loops etc. Who knows if he had a seat belt or not. The seats came out.
It looked to me that he was having some steering handling probelms at first but stayed in it. Then it really looked like he had steering problems, looked like he was trying to turn it and it wouldn't turn. and then suddenly the car did steer hard right.
That could not have been his time on the scoreboard. The car didn't get that far down the track. Besides that the wheel hop and tire chatter he got when launching could not have been on a 10 second car. It looked to me like it said on the window, a 12 second car. It also looked like a good body on it too. It could have maybe been a nice ar one day.

fremont drag strip...great place to race...his rear end broke out and was "steering" the car for him....and at that time, a 12.30 car was fast..

can you say MORON!, holy crap. looks like the car was a p.o.s. to begin with, nothing like skimping out on saftey so you can get that new go fast goodie.
geez, my car ran a best of 13.44 before i did a total rebuild and found two broke pistons, got a new carb and stall for it, and I am putting a 8 point cage in it with 5 point harnesses, got a suit and collar on order, and got a nice helmet last fall. I cant believe that there are so many people that forget about the saftey aspects and put their own and other peoples lifes in danger. people like him should be banned from the sport
