13.4 to 1 compression BMF headed 461 bbc, th400 trans 5900-6150 flash 8" converter, 7500 rpm shift, 3400 lbs w/driver.
Oh yea, if cam specs help. Bullet roller 269/276 @ .050, 300/310 gross, .738"I/.710"E lift, 110 lsa, 108 icl.
What VP fuel (gas) might you recommend for this combination?
thanks
Todd
EDIT: engine is approx 720-740 hp by the ET/mph it has run.

VP 114 or 114+. The 114+ is a great fuel, don't have to worry about it acting finicky either like C25.

I assume that's 114 is the same as C14?
Any chance that's too much octane for the compression?
My initial thought was C-12, but now you have me wondering.

Yes, C-14+.
I ran a very similar combo in my Chevelle and I ran the C-114+. I had a very tight lobe center as well. I started out running the C-14+ and it ran fine. The VP dealer made the suggestion of trying the C-12 so I did. The car slowed about a half a tenth and it ran hotter. I jetted it up a tad and it totally killed it. I ran about 41 degree's timing if I remember correctly.
The engine was a .100 over 454(475), Dart 320's, T-400, 8" Coan, shifted at 7800 and weighed 3535. I honestly can't remember the cam specs but it was pretty big with a 108lc.
You can try the C12 but I didn't have good luck with it with my combo.
