View Full Version : Local engine builder for blown LT1?

Have an LT1 engine that's new and never run, but sitting for several years. Want it torn down, inspected, rods changed, any rebalancing/machine work that is necessary, top end inspected and optimized (probably new cam). This is going to be a 90% track/10% street engine. It's a 383 going to be fed by a YSi which will eventually be a maxed out drag-strip effort.
Who would you guys trust to give this the once-over and recommend any optimizations or changes to the combo? Hopefully someone who's done a high-power/race application LT1 before. Eventually will be looking for some pretty serious times for the current LT1 world. :)

Steve Morris Racing Engines would be another good choice in Michigan.
