Does E-town still run Top Street? Is this class just like mean street but on Sunday? If so, what ET range are most of the cars and is the turn around time as short as it is during Mean Street?

Thanks

class runs on sundays in conjunction with the sunoco points series. The rules are a bit more lenient and the turnaround time is prob a bit more since the curfew on sundays is rarely touched.

Top Street is over for the year as well as the Sunday points program. It is similar to Mean Street. Has an 11.99 cutoff. Much more time between rounds due to all the other classes being run on Sunday. That is why I run Pro and Top Street, plenty of time to cool-off and get back up there unless you get into the third round of each, then it's hectic!

Thanks. Sucks it's done for the year as I was looking to give it a try. What kind of et's at most people running in that class?

We had a lot of bump spots in the mid to low 11 second range. I think there was a day when 11's didn't get you in.........

The typical car is mid to low 10's.

Once in awhile there is an 8 second car, a few low 9's.

32 car qualified field, 11.99 is the slowest you can dial. Trans Brakes and 2-steps allowed, no Delay Boxes.

cool, thanks for the info. I guess next year i'll give it a try. I ran mean street for the 1st time last week and liked it, but the turn around time was a killer.

That's why I have a killer radiator with dual fans, that baby cools-down in less than 5 minutes on a 90+ degree day. A lot of the faster cars on Friday nights also run 'Glides. There are a TON of street cars there and it can be difficult to get down the track at times later in the year....... I need less than 10 minutes between passes as long as I have two full fuel jugs in the trailer!

You could be right Gary. Not that you have anything that slow, well, maybe your tow vehicle!
