looking for a little input, i currently have Aerospace brakes on my car "dual rear calp" and std aero space on the front. I never had an issue with brakes until i started running 1/8 mile and their is no need to trow the chutes, however that being said slowing down from 160mph is taking a toll on them, they are starting to stick and warp BAD!! I was wondering what everones thoughts are on diffrent breaks. Im thinking of replacing both front and back. I love the Bear but they are heavy as hell, the strang is a nice piece but they are way to proud of them "$$$$". what else is their?

josh

let me add we run between 3200-3500lbs depending on the race

When was the last time the pads and rotors were changed?

Sounds like the brakes are heating up real good from all the weight and not enough cool down... You should at least throw one chute out at 160mph... Help on the brakes...

If you're killing the brakes, why not throw the 'chutes? They're there and it's a good habbit to be in.

That said, I'm happy with my Wilwood rears.

honestly im lazy about not wanting to repack the chute, and i always have been hesitent to disconnect one chute, to use only one, incase it were not to open. but i guess the smart thing to do would be to add another lever and seperate them

pads were never changed, looked at them last week and still look good
