Look for a set from a nascar type team that used 18 degree stuff before they switched to SB2.

I bought mine from a guy in North Carolina. They cost me $400 plus shipping and are stainless in perfect condition.

Deals are out there. You just have to be in the right place to find them.

Hedman make's a set I think they are 1 7/8 and they are the only one's that will fit right in ( I know because I have the same car 74 with 18 degree) I finally went with a old set of nascar headers BUT THEY DON'T GO RIGHT IN I did MAJOR sergery on the cross member , cut clearence in the subframe, did some funky stuff for the steering shaft and still only ended up using about half the orignal headers they must be lengthened on the down tube's or the collectors will run right into the fire wall , so your left with two choices hedman or custom

so are the Schoenfeld headers any good? i finally checked and ya they were right where i looked  but they aeem really cheap???

and there are two different ones part# 187-18 and 167A18
both have same sizes etc... is the only difference what you see in the pic then?

Lot's of pic's just not a clue on how to post them, I leave that up to the girl friend, and from what I've seen the shoenfeild's seen like a very good header for the price just be carefull that they will clear the floor most of there stuff is for circle track you should call them and see,

Maybe their cheap enough that it really don't matter :D

If money is an issue(usually is) then I'd go for cheap just to get it on the road so to speak, and then save for a good set later. Ceramic coat the cheap ones and they'll look like a million bux.

The set I found I got a great deal on. I have a friend that can weld or modify them to fit. So even if I have to buy tubing and have them welded I will save a lot of money.

ya money still is kinda an issue i still need about $3-3500 to finish it and i have heads intake and my shortblocks all together. not a lot of money to most but thats quite a bit for me :(

here is a list of stuff i still need

headers
pushrods
head studs
gaskets
carb
ignition
fuel system
converter
oil pump/ pan (have on but haven't paid for yet :) )
throttle linkage
thermostat housing
water pump
and probably a few other little things that you always forget
so i'm quite a ways from having it out :(
