How's the fishing in this lake? Looks like we will be moving up there.

I live across the street from Wolverine with lake access. I'm not much of a fisherman but I never have much luck. How ever I know a lot of other people that catch some sierious fish out there. Decent lake, watch the 7:30 no wake rule and cops on the weekends. What street are you getting a house off of? I'm on the south west corner of the lake by Benstine.

Wolverine lake used to be pretty good for pan fish, gills and perch. About 10-12 yrs ago the DNR stocked some walleyes in it. I don't know if they did well or not, by 9 am the lake gets pretty busy with jet skiers and boats. Not too fun to fish when its busy out there. I stopped fishing out there because boat traffic and people.
