Hi all. I am building a 480" BBC with a f3 reverse rotation unit and am now contiplating on going with a blow thru setup or fuel injection. I am looking at making between 2000-2300hp with this setup. My question is, is it possible to achieve these hp numbers with a blow thru setup?

Easy to do you need a CSU carb for gas.
Or a C&S carb for Alky.
Lutz is making 2700hp with a C&S.

Pro Charger used 2 carbs at one time.

At ProCharger we used two dirt cheap carbs. I took a pair of 450 CFM tunnel ram carbs and put dual feed bowl kits and a secondary accelerator pump kit on them and we made 1400hp on an antique design Offy intake (which is still available) with pump gas and 427 ci. This is what was on the ProCharger "pump gas" Nova. With the widespread availability of good blowthrough carbs, there is little reason to use this approach these days..

I don't advise it, I make the break at 1800 for good safty 2000 fot at your own risk. 2 carbs MAY be doable but the safest way is EFI for fuel distribution. I maight change my mind some day but EFI would be a better choice now.
