I am in need of a new 02 sensor for my classic FAST. I had read here that there is a disk to upgrade this unit to accept a non serialized 02 sensor (I believe $15 disk).
What's the skinny on this upgrade, and where to buy.
Thanks,
Don Barnett

I know it has only been 14 hrs, but can someone help me with this please? I have done numerous searches to no avail.
Thanks,

any fast dealer should be able to set you up, or call FAST directly . there is an option disk that will let you run any L1H1 NTK sensor no mater what calibration resistor is in it. Every sensor has a different value cal resistor and your ecu is programed to only accept the one it was shipped with , the option disk removes that parameter from the ecu.

That was only true for the clasic systems. The XFI boxs are not locked.

I believe we have the WBO2 in stock & the universal option file can be done through email. Just need your serial #. Feel free to contact us. Website below.

Can anyone tell me why my FAST WBO2 readings bounce all over the place?

i know im digging up this thread, but i just purchased a Gen1 BS3 off another member on here, and he said it worked fine, but i talked to a tech guy and told him that he sent a new 02 with it and all a suden the tech guy was alittle nervous that the original 02 may no longer be good. As i said i was told nothing about a bad 02 so im hoping its fine especially when i found out to recalibrate an 02 it would be 450 bucks!!!!!
p.s this is my first venture into EFI so i really know very little..
i paid 850 for the bs3 so if i have to pay 450 on top of that i wont be happy because i minaze well have just purchased a new one.
my question is, worste case all a sudden i have the shittiest luck in the world and the 02 shits the bed or is already shitty, is there any way to get around the 450 dollar recalibration!?

the classic fast is the only one you need to recal for it to be used with standard 02 sensors, and their is a $15 cal file you can get from Craig Smith, which then allows you to use the NGK 24302 O2 sensor, i just went thru this last week, O2 was 160.00 from local autoparts, it works perfect
now the BS3 and the Fast XFI , if i'm not mistaken, you dont need to calibrate it to the replacement sensor, i know the xfi has a field where you select which o2 sensor you are using LH1/Lh2 or LHA type, pretty sure the bs3 has something like this, not sure what is the ngk p/n for the bs3 o2 sensor

I just replaced the O2 sensor in my classic FAST last week. Bought the sensor (NTK 24302) from Summit for $124. Called FAST and they needed number from my ecu so they could e-mail me the correct option file. Option file was FREE!
