Hey Jason, I have been wondering this for a while. I understand that VP fuels has the least amount of unknowns in there fuel. I believe the number I was given for C-16 was 5% and for Torco 118 it was 7%. I know this may sound stupid but exactly what is unknown? Or is unknown something that is just material garbage?

:-kill I can't phuckin tell you that, I'd have to kill you.

I don't know if they are talking about aromatics or other components. I will call our chemist tomorrow and see what he says. Sometimes they are wierd about giving super secret recipes away, but I'll see what I can find out.

LOL if its that reason I would just keep it to yourself. I thought that maybe unknowns is the material left over during the purification process. I was told that the Pro Stockers use fuel with little to no unknowns in them.. and the reason for the high price.. If its a secret recipe thing.. Dont post it.. If not I would like to know what that unknown is.. Cause im curious is all...

Yeah, you should check out the C25 that the pro stock guys use. It is some pretty wicked stuff for naturally aspirated engines. I'll see what I can find out.

That is badass. I have personally never used one, but the trailer that we furnish to the NHRA has one. I got to play with it a bit a couple years ago in Chicago. Way cool.

PS Monty I haven't forgotton about you, I was out of the office today. Sorry man.

Howdy,

The 25 is awesome, but if you don't have to follow fuel rules I would try the VP DRT. Give me a buzz if you want. 812 878 2026. I'm a better talker than a typer.

Monty,

I'm here in TX with the owner of VP. Here is his answer to your question. There are no unknowns in VP Fuel. We have a Gmass in our lab that is the same as the one used to test Olympic athletes for drugs. We know what every part in our fuels are. That's what the man told me so I'll pass it on.
