What is up with that? I had some stupid $hit head run into me and a co-worker today. He decided to run a red light and come to find out he never has had a drivers license and didn't have insurance. I am just glad it was my employers vehicle. No one was hurt which is a good thing. The other driver wasn't to happy when he found out who he ran into. A pickup owned by the local police department. Sad to say that idiot is spending his night in jail. :D

He day went from being pretty good to crap in less than a second.

Why can't states pass a law that allows law enforcement to impound a vehicle if the driver doesn't have insurance? In Oklahoma we have to write them a ticket and let them drive off. That is just not right. If they don't have a drivers license then they can be put in jail and arrested. But that is also rare. They should make not having insurance a very stiff fine plus you lose your license for 6 months to a year.

Driving is a privilege and not a right.

Rant over. I have to go take some pills to get rid of this headache I have from hitting the door post with the side of my head.

In Delaware the Vehicle without Insurance is Impounded (even if not in a Crash) We are now having a problem with Illegal Aliens (Mexicans) with Pennsyvania Tagged cars/No Insurance and No Drivers Licence/No Speak English......its a Major Problem.....I think it shouldn't be a problem at all.....'cause just as you said its a PRIVILEDGE.....However the ACLU Says its a "Right"......More to Follow

I say we just lock the border & call it a century.

I did leave out a few things. He was from mexico and didn't speak any english. Plus he has never had a drivers license in this country and as far as we know ever.

He didn't go to the hospital but everything else we be picked up by the taxpayer.

His car was impounded and from the looks of things isn't going to be worth much.

something similar happend here in So Cal, but the other way around. an american was in Mexico, & got into an accident (the other guys fault), because he refused to buy the "Mexinsure" stuff @ the boarder & the other guy was a politician, he was denied medical assistance & was essentially allowed to go into a vegitative state & eventually died. all becuase he was an american. whats stupid is that his wife got his insurance company to agree to pay for everything, but they still would not take care of the guy (AND kept him prisoner in the hospital).

Explain myself? Isn't it evident?? I see everyone here likes to pick on the Mexican for coming in this country to work. They don't have the money to buy a drivers license, and there is simply not enough spanish street signs for them to even have any knowledge of driving or passing a test.

I was sitting in a Secretary of State last year and there were 5 mexicans taking the drivers tests for the DL. None of them passed, and do you know why? They were not in spanish!!! We need to reach people where they are.... When I drive through McDonalds do I see spanish menus? No.... how can they even feed themselves? When I go into a grocery store, I don't see Spanish labels on any of the food so how can they know what they are buying?

I think we need to change our national language to spanish. This will help the 'Workers' when they climb the fence and cross the border. This will help them obtain a job easier too.

I also think we need to give them health insurance, and social security.

*When you come to America you should 1) come by the Rules 2) Speak our Language 3) Abide by All Laws.....other wise you are ILLEGAL (Law Breakers) I have been all over the World and NO Where.....NO WHERE do they cave in to American CITIZENS (YET WE GIVE THEM Boat Loads of $$$).....Why is it so hard to ask people to play by the Rules.....I understand we are a "Young Country" and all basicaly Newcomers.....However our Ancesters did it by the rules.....I don't hate Mexicans or any other ethnick group.....But why should I learn Spanish (I do speak it though) to accomodate them....it should be the other way around......I travel a lot to Cancun (business) The Rules I must abbide by are a Major pain in the BUTT......Working Papers ect.....I can't own land within 5 miles of the Ocean.....Why ???I'm not Mexican.....They want us to bend over backwards however They charge me big $$$ to do any Business in their Country

Well Jimmy I hope you realized that post was dripping in sarcasm.

But one remark about your post above, is that we really need to keep from comparing our country and how we operate, to other nations.... there are no other free nations in the world.
