channel two bridge, 7 mile bridge, on it or under on the east side. if you have a full moon fish the shadow line for snook. you can also wade the flats for bones and other fish in places like long key and grassy key. try to rent a boat or charter if $$ allows. i had a charter boat there for 18 years, be glad to help any way i can. jay

DON"T wade the flats at night, just a friendly suggestion. CH.2 bridge is in islamorada, 7mi. bridge is in marathon, better than 40 mi. apart. True Lies was shot at 7 mi. cool tourist info, check with any tackle shop for current info and catch 'em up. Jay

not many beaches in the keys, plenty of bridges though, just pull off the only road and fish from one of the "old" bridges. it'll be obvious. long key state park is a nice beach. ya may not wanna fish after a day / night in k.w.. see how you feel. may not be a problem. check out some headboats ,lots of anglers, good fishin' and pretty cheap. it'll get ya out on the reef. pretty cool!

just thinkin' (rare moment) just on the west side of 7 mi. bridge is sunshine key,big , big american flag. if iremember correctly it's 2maybe 3 bridges after that you can park on the bay side, cross the rd. and i think you can get down to the water and use a lure like a long-a bomber or a lipped rapala. dark for night light colored ones for day, that might be a good time. have a great time. tight lines, jay ( nice camaro!)

Wish I was going. Haven't fished down there since the early 80s and the early 60s before that. There was a party boat run by a Captain Tony that I would recommend if he is still around. Fished with him both in the 60s and 80s. He may have retired by now. He wasn't afraid to get into big fish with that many people like some. Caught some record size Cobia in late Feb. on a party boat. Watch your wives and daughters, he's a flirt, but enjoyable.

Bubstr,Capt. Tony died not long ago...I ran his boat,Greyhound, from Ft.Lauderdale to the Keys after it was converted to a double deck party/dinner boat renamed Carribean Queen. Never fished on it though. You certainly were fortunate to fish with such a character...lots of history there. Jay
