need some help i stoped racing this year with 3 races left,mad runs like fat pig with only two legs.sbc 406 fogger 375 shot,best et 6,44@116 ,1/8 1,55 60.ft, i think it's the cam heres what i got.
30 over 3.75 stroke 12to1
rhs,protopline 235 runner 64cc,flow 312@.700and197@.700
super vic and 950hp holley heres cam spec
4/7 swap
282 and294@50 lift683and660
112 sep,110cl,dont want 4/7 no more not worth the extra$ made some calls this is what they say
272and284@50 lift 681and681
112cl 114sep up to 7500 rpm
they say this one good for 150 to 500 shot
3300lbs 26 inch tire 390 gear glide converter flashesto 4800had one 4400 the 4800 is better got me to the 6.44 could use any help you can give,the one i got right now anit close is it, and dont know about #2 cam,lookin to go up on nos to 475or 500,need to be goin5.50 or faster can you help in any way on theses two cams or do i need to start over i'm LOST dont know what to do

Both cams IMHO are the wrong tool for the job. Sounds to me like the convertor isn't very happy. This is because the camshaft is gigantic (NOS cam) and if you don't lay the NOS to it, it won't run the front. That is indictive of the 1.55 - sixty foot and 6.44 - 1/8 mile. Sounds lazy the front 100 feet or so. Then takes off running.

If you want my help, I need a camshaft build sheet completed from my site. Follow the direction on how to download it and save it. I'll get the right camshaft designed for you. Plus the quality & accuracy are second to none.

i do want your help it mite be this winter ,spent to much $$$$ this year over 10k and this is how it runs,and u do have to spray the hell out of it to run 6.44 and it comes alive past 330 but to late then i will fill one out in the next mo. or two
