comp polymer gear shreaded

do i need to take the motor apart? 3 teeth are left and the rest are gone up to 3/4 of the way up. what gear do you like name brand wise? i know the cam calls for a bronze.

Yes you need to get the "stuff out" of the motor.

I do not like the polymere gears. I run steel or bronze. I will say that the engine does need to come out to do this right. Then, you need to find out why the teeth sheared on the gear. The engine is telling you something. You just need to figure out what it is.
