I just picked up 143 acres to archery hunt this year. I have 9 acres of tillable land that I bought last summer and am renting it to the farmer behind me. His 143 acres is right off my back porch and has only been gun hunted up to this point. My wife and I are the only ones that will be hunting it from October 1st through November 14th and I even got enough cash on top for the rent to cover the taxes on the ground. Good day indeed.

Very cool. There's not much better than bow hunting those last couple weeks before firearm season comes in!

Arrowed my first archery deer(BucK) this year on November 1st. After the crops are in the owner is going to take me for a walk to see the property lines, from then on it is up to me to scout it out.

How was it??? For me, shooting one with a firearm doesn't compare to a bow. I stuck my first one with a bow in 1994 and i still get the shakes when they walk up on me.

About fell out of the tree. I use the Illuminoks and you can watch the arrows path, really cool.

I still have the picnic table set up at Dad's house too but we can shoot here if need be.
