What kind of gains would one see with tuned headers over untuned? Is it worth the extra 200?

from dyno work Ive been involved with in the past, a "pefect tuned" header is only "perfect" for about 100-500 rpm range. a well designed header will work thru a wider range. once have a decent design, any time you try to improve one spot you take away from another. The only way you will pick up tons with a great header is if you had terrible ones to start with. Once you have a decent header you will not make big gains in power but you can move the curve around.
We actualy made the best power with eight inverse megaphones, one per port, but you would never be able to fit that system in a car.
