12..2 w?

i currently run a 31 10.5 w and was looking to go to a slightly larger tire. will a 31.25 x 12.2 w or even radial w be ok on a 12" rim and have the same stable goodness i have now?

My experience with the 2 tires the 31 10.5 works better for me. They are near the same rollout, the 12.2 is a tad wider but the 31 10.5w seems to be spread out better with the 12" rim. The 12.2 is a softer compound and the sidewalls are softer. This was a 3100# doorcar running 9.40's.
