This Bald Eagle was eating roadkill in the corn stuble when we went by the first time. It took off when we came back but got this shot, wish you could see the head but it is definately a Bald Eagle. Best part was my two young boys got to see it too.

We were about 3 miles North of the MI-OH line in Michigan, about 3 miles from my house. It was really cool, I have seen them up North but never around here. It flew off and stayed in a tree 1/4 mile off the road, we went back with the camera(this was the crackberry) but it never came back.

i have seen blad eagles on a couple of occasions. it was a very cool feeling when i saw them. first time it was two of them, second time only one. very cool to see.
We had several bald eagles around here at one time. I would see them all the time when I was on the lake fishing. I have not seen any in over 10 yrs. Cool pic.

Cool pic,
We have been seeing them more and more here in Pa also. And they are only about 1/2 hour from the city limits, (Phila) And many more farther up in the mountains
Very cool to see them doing well these days..

I see bald eagles ALL the time up here in Washington. Still, it is very cool watching them. There is one small town on the northwest corner of Washington where there are damn near as many bald eagles as seagulls....

We have Bald eagles in yard quit a bit! Usually in April we have one perched in our old maple tree out back. We live 11 miles from the Ohio border. These eagles are nesting around Lake Erie, which is 5 miles from us.
If I had a better camera I could take some pics of when they are perched in our trees.

a couple years ago a young bald eagle was shot around here, made the news and everything. kinda crazy i didnt think we had any in NC. i dont know if they ever caught the dogs that did it but i hope so. not trying to be all "patriotic crazy" but come on.

i saw my first bald eagle about 2 years ago while on a trip , i actually saw a second one on the trip. I was swimming at this pool at a camp ground at Lake Shasta. there big pines around the pool and the eagle landed in the tree,I got all excited got out the pool and walked to the base of the tree. My wife was looking at me like I was nuts ,but soon she and her mom and sister came over to look. hell we live in so cal, la area so we dont see that stuff
