when mounted, does the rim stick out farther then the the side/bubble of the tire? Reason I'm asking, the wheels I have fit without a tire, but with a 28 x 10.5, I'd have to use 3/4" spacer. And a BFH will not make enough clearance to go without the spacer. Yes I know, I need a mini tube... thats planned for the future.
Oh, I know its a M/T thread, but I'd like input from the Hoosier guys as well.
Thanks
Mike

Don't think I've ever seen a drag type tire not bubble wider than the wheel it's on. My tires bubble out about 2" past the wheel on either side, but I suppose if I used a 12" or wider wheel the rubber might only be as wide as the wheel.

Maybe this will help you out with the ltllet 26X8.5. By the way we've never massaged the inner fender well and have no clearance issues with a stock length 8.8. The rims on the car are Bogarts 10"and the bubble sticks out right at the 3/4" mark from the rim on the tape mearure.
