Ive been running MT 28x10.5s (28.1 od) tires on my car and it 60's in the high 1.30's but the tire rubs the front and back of the wheel well slightly at the big end of the track. I dont want to cut the arches out so i was considering the ET Street in the 28x11.5(27.3 od) to gain some clearance. Just wondering how much switching to the street tire would cost me in the 60ft , more, less, same? I know its hard to say exactly just looking for a general idea. The car weighs 3400 w/driver and makes 630hp@flywheel im using a 10 rim as well. Thanks for any input.

The compound is the same on both tires, and the construction is very similiar. Going to that size ET Street however, you're also going from a 10.2" tread to 8.9", so you'll be making it significantly difficult to keep par with your current performance. It can be done, we've seen that ET Street produce those 60 ft times, but it will be harder to do. To tell you how much it may drop off is difficult to say, but without any changes, it would certainly be expected.
Thanks for the question,

It's funny, I've had several different combos (i.e. gear & tire size) and the 31x10.5W ET Drag, 315 Radial, and my current 30x13.5 ET Street all get me the same 1.28 60'.
Personally I like the ET Streets the best...runs wheels-up mid 8's while being street legal.....the Radials didn't work for me - they'd spin and never recover!;)

I've tried slick against ET street. The Street's 60'd 1.17 & the slicks were 1.21.
